I heard something today that underscored for me the degree to which I live in a different world that some of the people around me. It also leaves me with a question.
Are there really people in the world who are unacquainted with failure? Entirely? And if so, what exactly is that like?

So me a man that never fails at anything.
And I'll show you a man that never does anything.

The only people unacquainted with failure are those unacquainted with effort. Some folks think that because they have been given everything they need or want, they have succeeded. They have not; they have merely inherited.
The most successful people i know are those who have put their failures in perspective, learned from them, and moved on.

What's it like to be unacquainted with failure? I don't know. Ask Bush. He doesn't seem to recognize it when it bites him in the @$$.
