OK. So I borrowed the idea from Jeff, who also reads Ernie's blog. Ernie works on cool , exciting, web related projects like Yahoo! Avatars. I saw it on Ernie's blog a while back and decided to make one, even though I don't use Yahoo! Messenger much at all.
I'm not entirely sure about the likeness. I'd like my avatar to have hair as long as mine (shoulder length now), but otherwise it seems pretty cool. It's in beta now, so perhaps the finished product will have more options available. Now I just need a reason to use Yahoo! Messenger and I'm all set.
They all look like prepubescent Ken dolls.

What's a 50 year guy to do. And where is long hair? My hair isn't on my sholders its headed towards my belt! Does no one in Ken doll world wear a ponytail?
Having said all that I still think its sort of cool.
