Just to be nominated. No, really. It is. I was taken totally by surprise this morning. I was just checking to see how many hits my blog had gotten and I noticed a referring URL that I hadn't seen before. I clicked on the link only to find I'm among the nominees for Best Blog in the 2003 Koufax awards. I don't know who nominated me, but I'd like to say thanks. I'm surprised and touched that someone thought enough of my efforts to nominate me.
It's a nice way to start the day, for sure.
As far as others are concerned, you're the only one i'm linked to. That said, between Bernie and I, we should be able to get the word out because you've done damn good work this year since you've started.

I was also nominated, albeit for best post. There isn't a chance in hell I'll win. I think either Alas, a Blog or Talking Points Memo should win.
